The
Key To Weight Loss Success
The Key To Weight Loss Success is Attitude
Before you start your weight loss program take an inventory of your attitude toward other things in your
life.
-
What is your attitude toward accomplishing projects in your work? In your
hobbies?
-
What motivates you and gives you the drive to start new things? What rewards do you look
for?
-
Do you need small rewards at regular intervals? Or do you prefer to wait to the very end and anticipate savor
your reward?

-
Do you prefer to dive in head first? Or take baby steps?
The way you think and feel about food, exercise and the value of your health are at the heart of your weight
loss plan.
Your weight loss or weight maintenance program need to be tailor made to your mind-set. Take a closer look at what
your attitude really is toward your health, nutrition and exercise.
If your usual approach is good for short term goals but not working in the long term.
You may want to look into tweaking your attitude by imagining not only what it looks like to be at your desired
weight, but also how healthy you will feel, how much more energy you will have to do the activities you’ve always
wanted to do, and do them with the grace and skill you admire in others.
Information is essential developing a healthy attitude toward weight loss. Boost your knowledge of nutrition and
exercise by investing in one or two good books on the basics. There are an amazing number of books available on
these subjects but I prefer to keep it simple as too much information can be confusing, contradictory and
overwhelming.
Many weight loss programs and products provide you helpful information, they may however, be biased toward the
products or program they are selling. I have tried many diets and programs over the years but have had the most
success with "Weight Watchers".
T
heir information and products are excellent but having your own basic reference material is an invaluable asset to
any weight loss program. My current favourites are.....
