Velas Vallarta is a beautiful resort just a few kilometers
from the Puerto Vallarta
Airport. After you make it through the Airport prepare yourself to be
pampered and well served at this All Inclusive Resort.
All Inclusive
is the term used for you pay for nothing, In this resort alcohol, meals 24 hour room
service is basically what it means. Other services like massage, Spa Treatment, Internet services and a round of
Golf will come with a fee.
Though we haven't stayed at many all inclusive, I don't know what is expensive and
what is not. The facilities are in excellent shape and constantly being maintained by the many staff members day
and night. I have never seen so much cleaning and maintenance going on.

The Food is excellent and if you get tired of the restaurants or want a change of
scenery you can arrange to go to one of two of their sister resorts that offer excellent food and great
scenery.
The resort offers free tours during the week, one to a tequila factory and the other
to Puerto Vallarta. We did not take advantage of these tours because we just wanted to chill and take in the
scenery of the resort.
The suite we had was a one bedroom, A king-size bed, good sized patio on the ground
with comfortable lawn chairs and other furniture for lounging around on your deck and watch the world go
by.
On the negative side I was disappointed that I had to pay for the wireless internet,
though I know some people would ask why bring your computer? That's just me facebook can always be updated right
there.
Going to the resort in January is right around the Iguana mating time so they are a
little more rambunctious than usual. An occasionally they will when being chased by another Iguana fall out of trees. I've heard it and seen it amazing.
|
Sometimes the Iguanas would fall from the trees during mating time due to
their chasing of each other.

The weather isn't the hottest at that time of year ranging
from 20 C at night to 31 C during the day.
Overall a good place to stay but it's not cheap either, and if you like it enough
there will always be someone around to sell you a timeshare if you are so inclined.
